Be sure to check out the XC Ski episode of The Maine Show. Jeff and I hang out with Ian and Matt Truman of the band Dead Season. Their latest album “When Everything’s Lost” finished 5th in the top10 overall CD sales at Maine’s major retail music chain, finishing just 4 spots behind Metallica. A lot of fans know them from their continued winning streak on WTOS’s Battle of the Bands. Jeff and I know them as some pretty cool guys that love to ice fish and spend time in the Maine outdoors. All the best Ian and Matt!

The Maine Show in the News – A focus on Oxford Hills

Football on the Ice in Oxford Hills
The Maine Show is coming out with an Oxford Hills piece on April 25th and while making the show, we connected with Dirk Langeveld - writer for the Sun Journal. Dirk took an interest in writing an article on the show and especially the Oxford Hills episode. Here’s a bit of Dirk’s article or click here to read the entire piece “Maine Show to Focus on Oxford Hills”:
“The winter activities of the Oxford Hills will be the focus of an upcoming episode of “The Maine Show,” a television series that explores destinations in the state.
“The Maine Show” officially launched on Jan. 4, and has aired five episodes. Three other episodes, including the Oxford Hills show, were shot this winter.” More on this…

Dodgeball on The Maine Show

Played dodgeball lately? It’s a growing sport in Maine and well, in the spirit of The Maine Show, Jeff and I decided to get a team together and do our best to dodge, duck, dip, dive…and dodge at the annual Mid-Winter Massacre Dodgeball Tournament. Anyone can form a team and join the tournament so plan to get a team together for 2010. It’s well worth the trip.
Don’t think ya want red marks all over your body? We’ll, there’s lots going on aside from dodgeball in the Bridgton Area. It’s a pretty cool place to spend a bit of time.
